Tahoe First Snow Day
A snow playground made for kids 8 and under, with tubing carousels and snow volcanoes right off I-80.

Day 1: Snow play
- 10:00 Planet Kids at Soda Springs: tubing carousels, snow volcanoes, first ski area
- 12:30 Hot lunch in the lodge
- 1:30 Tube Town lanes for older siblings and grown-ups
- 4:00 Stay the night in Truckee
Day 2: Head home
- 10:00 Walk downtown Truckee
- 11:30 Drive home before afternoon traffic
Good to know
- One Mountain Adventure ticket covers Planet Kids and Tube Town
- Opening depends on snow, so check before you drive
- Carry chains; I-80 often has chain controls
- Pack waterproof layers and a full change of clothes
