Tips from parents
- The Children's Garden is at 799 Howard St. It has an amphitheater, swings and open lawn for running around.
- The Children's Creativity Museum and the LeRoy King Carousel are right beside the gardens, so you can easily add them to the same trip.
- The Ice Skating + Bowling Center is next door. It works as a backup if the weather turns.
- Montgomery and Powell BART stations are close by, and so are several Muni lines. Parking downtown is expensive, so transit is easier.
- Dress in layers, since downtown SF is often breezy and cool.
