Tips from parents
- Go during the daytime. Thistlewyck isn't open during the evening Holiday Lights hours, so an evening ticket won't get you in.
- Kids can ride past miniature trains in the redwoods, write a letter to Santa at the post office and dress up in the Elf Emporium.
- Last admission is 1:30 pm, so arrive early to see the village, the House and the Garden.
- The ground can get muddy and hard to navigate in the rain, so wear sturdy shoes.
