Tips from parents
- Last entry is at 4pm, and the museum is closed Tuesday through Thursday, so check the day before you go.
- The ship is a historic landmark with many steep stairs and ladders, so strollers are hard to manage. Carry a baby or toddler in a carrier.
- Kids can see the Apollo 11 and 12 recovery exhibits and the aircraft on the hangar deck. Wear comfortable shoes and bring layers, since the pier gets windy.
- Free parking is available on site. Families receiving SNAP benefits can get $2 admission through Museums for All by showing an EBT card.
