Tips from parents
- The museum's winter season includes an iceless skating rink, giant play gingerbread houses and a Toy Makers Studio. Closed-toe shoes are needed to skate.
- Last year the skating rink stopped taking skaters at 3:30pm, so aim to get there earlier in the day.
- Kids get skates at the rink. Last year, caregivers could get slip-on shoe covers to join in.
- Buy tickets online ahead of time, since winter weekends and school-break days can get busy.
