Give Oakland's Leona Canyon a helping hand by planting California native plants where invasive species once took over. Volunteers plant, water, build protective cages, and mulch new seedlings, with tools and lunch provided. Open to ages ten and up, it's a satisfying way to earn community service hours outdoors.
