Ages: Little kids 4–7, Big kids 8–12, Teens 13+
The reopening of the Hayward Plunge has been delayed, so this class has been moved to the Arroyo Swim Center. Class Description & Prerequisites: For ages 5–17, this class teaches racing dives and turns, along with all four competitive strokes-freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly-in a swim team–style environment. Participants must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle (with rhythmic/side breathing) and backstroke.
